The most commonly reported characteristics of a hangover include headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and noise, lethargy and thirst, typically after the intoxicating effect of the alcohol begins to wear off. While a hangover can be experienced at any time, generally speaking it is experienced the morning after a night of heavy drinking.
– I say Jeeves, I feel as though the entire percussion section of the London Philharmonic is practising inside my skull.
– Indeed Sir.
– Yes, be a good fellow and fetch me one of your special pick-me-ups, would you.
Jeeves shimmered out of the room and went to the kitchen to prepare a Bloody Mary

He shook up all the ingredients with practised flick of his wrists, poured the concoction over crushed ice into a glass, added the garnishes and then placed the frosted glass onto a silver salver. He re-entered the darkened room and wordlessly served his master who downed the restorative fluid with one long gulping draft.
– Ah, that certainly hit the spot! You’re a bloody marvel, Jeeves, you’ve saved my life again!
– Happy to be of service, Sir.
